Why It Matters To Tree of Life
Shows Tree of Life’s commitment to hunger relief and practical neighborhood care.
Food Pantry Ministry
The food pantry is one of the practical ways Tree of Life responds to hunger and instability in Brookline and the surrounding neighborhoods. We want this ministry to offer both consistent support and human dignity.
Monthly Distribution
On the 2nd Saturday of every month, except August when it is held on the 1st Saturday, Tree of Life distributes bags of food to community residents.
We know many families in our area face food insecurity and financial pressure. The pantry exists to meet tangible needs while helping people experience the church as a caring and trustworthy presence.
How This Differs From Other Food Programs
This page is specifically about the main pantry distribution. Tree of Life also serves through a mobile food pantry and seasonal feeding programs, but those should remain distinct so families can find the right help quickly.
We want our care to be organized, respectful, and relational. The goal is not only distribution, but hospitality, consistency, and support.
Serving and Support
Food ministry needs people who can serve with reliability, compassion, and attention to detail. This includes organizing, setup, hospitality, distribution, and follow-through.
